Thoughts

Well Uncle David, I can't believe I'm writing this. 😢I know you hadn't been in the best of health with your COPD, but none of us expected to lose you so suddenly after just a few weeks of having some more health problems. Angie tells me you fought so hard, but you couldn't carry on any longer. It's some comfort to your family & friends knowing that Angie & Jen were able to be with you towards the end.I hope you are at peace now, reunited with some of your family.. 'The Evanses' my mam included. I will never forget the last phone conversation we had while you were in hospital.💙 I'm so glad we always kept in touch with each other, either phoning or meeting up for a meal & a lager. I have many happy memories of being with you, spending time at your family home in Abercynon while I was a young girl, babysitting Angie for you & Jen to go up The Trallwn, having music on & dancing when you got home.. mostly a bit inebriated. The parties we had at your house & ours in Quakers Yard in later years. You will be greatly missed & never forgotton. Always in our hearts. RIP Uncle David. 💙 Your favourite niece... (our joke) Elaine. Gary & Family. xxx💔💙💔

Dave I’ve known you all my life, and have so many wonderful memories that we shared to make me smile. You were all my second family growing up, and even though Angie and I could give you a little bit of stress by creating amazing art work we superglued to your windows for the world to see, and making large holes in your walls (accidentally) you would shout loudly but later smile with packets of crisps or nuts from the pub and make us both giggle. You always had hugs, a kiss and smiles whenever I saw you in later years, with lengthy conversations and updates on your beautiful girls in case I’d not seen them all in a while! Dave I will miss you, and I could go on and on! But I will always be there for your girls I promise. RIP Dave ❤️❤️❤️
